Who is Mohsin Dawar ( A Pashtun Leader), who was hit by the Pakistan Army on the 10th of February, and why did the Pakistan Army carry out the life-threatening attack on Mohsin Dawar?

Mohsin Dawar is a former MNA from NA-40 North Waziristan. He is also a human rights activist and is associated with the PTM (Pashtun Tahafuz Movement).

On 7th February, Mohsin Dawar informed on Twitter that three female polling agents in Tappi had been attacked by the Taliban. They narrowly escaped the blast, and he also wrote to the DRO requesting a change of polling stations in Tappi, but the letter was ignored.

On the same day, the Pakistan Army shut down the internet on mobile connections. Mohsin Dawar informed about the large-scale rigging in the NA-40 (North Waziristan) constituency. 

On the same day, he posted another video in which he claimed that the presiding officer and staff at GPS Haji Fateh Khan Kot polling station in NA-40 had been openly and brazenly stuffing ballots for PTI's Aurangzeb Khan. 

On 9th February, Mohsin Dawar posted that 27 presiding officers are being held hostage at Shewa Qila. FC personnel are forcing them to sign blank Form-45. 

On 10th February, he once again informed that the Pakistan army is involved in rigging, as in PK 104, Iqbal Wazir, a candidate who was lagging behind all others, has been declared the winner by 24,000 votes. 

He and his team were protesting against the delay in the election result and also the rigging in this election. Then, the Pakistan Army opened fire on all the protesters.

A month before, he survived a gun attack on his convoy during an election rally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

So, it is clear that only the Pakistan Army is behind both attacks, and they don't want any human rights activist to go to parliament. They can kidnap anybody anytime without disturbance.

Many PTM activists wrote about it on X, but no human rights organization or media outlet has the guts to talk about the fact that the army is committing genocide against Pashtuns and Baloch.

PTM leader Manzoor Pashteen wrote, 'We strongly condemn the terrorist attack on Mohsin Dawar by the security forces in which Mohsin Dawar was injured. We are standing with Mohsin Dawar and his party. May Allah recover him soon.'"

PTM activist and former MNA Ali Wazir wrote, 'Miran Shah North Waziristan Police and FC shooting directly at Mohsin Dawar and his associates is extremely cowardly and shameful. Mohsin Dawar is injured. State fascism has reached its peak.

"PTM activist Hanif Pashteen said, 'We condemn the cowardly attack on Mohsin Dawar. May God heal Mohsin Dawar. The PTM is present at the hospital, and we will support every man of our nation.' 

The PTM team also trended #PTMStandsWithMohsinDawar, where thousands of Pashtuns wrote against the army."
